Take advantage to the maximum of flavours and of the possibility of a healthy diet that offers one of the oldest ways of cooking -the wok, while benefiting from all the advantages of induction cooking-speed, efficiency, safety, functionality, and easy maintenance. For more details on the subject of induction cooking, you can consult the column called “A hybrid induction cooking hob by Electrolux”.

The AEG-Electrolux from Electrolux

Indeed for some time now, a few manufacturers have no offered us induction cooking plans specifically made for the wok that can be combined to the traditional induction plate. The incurved shape of the cooking plan developed this way has an ideal spread of temperature and consequently makes for exceptional cooking.

The DT1732X from Dietrich

Let’s start by AEG-Electrolux, a German company whose reputation doesn’t have to be proven anymore. Its cooking plan of 36 cm in diameter for a wok has 4 induction zones, two of which with boosters for quick heating. Extremely easy to use, the appliance also has sensitive command buttons, a LED display, an electronic timer for each of its cooking zones, a direct access to 2 cooking temperatures (160 and 180 °C), as well as a locking function and an electronic residual heating witness, thus assuring a higher level of safety. This cooking plan from the Frontline range develops a total power of 3.2 kW (2.3 kW for the source and 3.2 kW for the boosters) and is delivered with a stainless steel wok perfectly adapted to its capacities.

Expect to pay more than $1500 US to equip your kitchen with this new appliance of a superb design.

Other less known manufacturers in North America offer cooking plans for a wok with very similar characteristics. This if the case of Kuppersbuch or even the manufacturer Dietrich who offers the DT1732X model whose principal advantage is that it has a cooking surface slightly bigger of 38cm.

The Indu+ troley

Let’s finish off by talking about the manufacturer Indu+ who has the habit of creating appliances totally exclusive and who brings us an induction cooking hob for woks that is easily and quickly transportable from the inside to the outside with the help of the Indu+ trolley. So you have the possibility of taking the appliance out of the frame that is usually reserved to it-the kitchen, to use it in the garden or on the terrace. The combi Indu+ option is made up of a small induction wok and of a small induction table. Associated with the Indu+ trolley, the combi is the ideal appliance for your meals outside!
